Zofia Kołakowska-Halbersztadt is an advocate, court mediator and President of the Board of the European Mediation Centre – Consensius Foundation.
She is member of the District Bar Council in Warsaw. She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Gdańsk University. She accomplished judicial training followed by a successful judicial examination. She acts as a court mediator for the Regional Court in Warsaw.
She completed Tax Law Programme at the Warsaw School of Economics. She is a certified mediator in matters of civil, commercial, family and labour law, residential co-ops and neighbour communities.
She gained much experience in legal service provided to domestic business entities, i.e. legal persons, partnerships, residential co-ops and natural persons conducting business activities. Her areas of expertise include counselling as well as legal representation in civil, commercial, labour, divorce and administrative matters.
Zofia Kołakowska-Halbersztadt is the co-author of "Child in parents' divorce" (LexisNexis, 2013, 304 pages) and "When a child is kidnapped by the parent" brochure.
In her wide-ranging competencies and professional interests, Zofia Kołakowska-Halbersztadt is licensed to act as an attorney in matrimonial nullity trials before the Metropolitan Church Court of Warsaw. She completed Canon Law Programme at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in the field of judiciary and administration.
In the past she was committed to the activities of ITAKA Foundation – Centre for Missing People, assisting families of missing people in solving their life, material and business problems and helping in cases of minors exposed to parental kidnapping.
